It's been awhile ~

Well hello there.

I'm sorry, I haven't been here for quite some time.  Honestly, I got locked out of blogger and forgot about it after awhile.  But I got it figured out, and I'm going to try to get back to this blogging thing.

For those of you who might be stopping by for the first time, I'm going to start fresh and introduce myself.

I'm Polly.

With the help of my husband, family and amazing friends, I operate Georgie Emerson Vintage, LLC, a small brick and mortar shop specializing in vintage, handmade and new home decor items in the shabby farmhouse style.  We love old chippy paint in whites and creams, rusty crusty relics and salvage, pretty knick-knacks for the home, and unique jewelry, clothing and accessories for the modern country girl.

My sweet and ultra talented girlfriends are the makers behind Georgie Emerson.

Hand painted signs, wreaths, artwork, jewelry, pillows, recycled wood pieces ............

And of course, vintage is my first love!  There's never a shortage of vintage wares and furniture
 around the store.

Welcome to our little corner of the world where vintage imperfection is perfectly perfect.

And staying home to make your house lovely and cozy, rearranging the furniture, and changing the mantle 5 times in one day is totally normal.

And where putting your Old Girl in a vintage suitcase for a photo shoot is just part of a regular day.

We hope you'll stop by from time to time!

Hi Polly ,
I enjoyed reading about how it all started! I'm interested in knowing if you stain wooden tables and chairs as well.
